Volunteer Easter Seals Wisconsin has a number of volunteer opportunities for individuals or entire organizations

Volunteer Opportunities

Easter Seals Wisconsin has a variety of ways that you can volunteer and donate your time to give to children and adults with disabilities. For more information on any of these opportunities, please contact our AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator, Rachell Howell, at volunteer@eastersealswisconsin.com or call 608-254-2502.

Volunteer at Camp

Volunteering at Easter Seals Wisconsin Camps is a spectacular way to show you care about helping persons with disabilities achieve success and have fun. Activities like riding bikes, taking nature walks, completing art projects, playing favorite sports and games, dancing, sledding, swimming, camping under the stars, singing, or almost anything else you or your camper can imagine give the campers a real sense of accomplishment. While volunteering, you also get the opportunity to connect personally with the campers, learning everything from their interests and hobbies, to the best way to help them get into bed at night.

We are always looking for people to volunteer for our weekend programs at both Camp Wawbeek and Respite Camp in Wisconsin Dells. We provide on-site room and board, as well as a brief training period. Volunteers are needed by Friday at 3:00 pm for training; the camp session lasts until Sunday at 4:00 pm. We do ask you to fill out an application and submit a reference form. After we receive these items, we will do a background check and interview you. You must be at least age 18 to provide direct camper care.  Please contact our AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator at 608-254-2502 or by e-mail.

Special Projects and Large Groups

Does your group or organization want to volunteer to do a special project? Please e-mail Rachel Howell and she will help find a project that would be appropriate for your group.

Events throughout the Year

Easter Seals Wisconsin hosts many events throughout the year to raise money to support our programs and services. From camp clean-ups to fundraisers, volunteers play a critical role in the success of each event.  From our annual events such as Blizzard Blast, Golf Outing for Kids and Fall Sprawl, to events that your organization can host like Lily Days and Pack the Truck Events, there is something for every organization.  For more information on these events, please contact Kris Ackley by email or at 608-237-1370.
