About the Donation Center
Easter Seals Wisconsin continues to be an innovator in the nonprofit sector looking for sustainable and diversified funding for its programs and services. Easter Seals Wisconsin Donation Center, a unique mission-based venture, is a vital funding source for the organization’s work through the collection of gently used, re-saleable clothing, small household items and small furniture, which are then sold to Savers thrift stores. The proceeds generated from our collections throughout the state, go directly to growing and strengthening Easter Seals Wisconsin’s programs for individuals with disabilities and their families in Wisconsin.
The Donation Center (1-877-208-5109) is open Monday-Friday from 7am- 7pm and on Saturday from 9am-4pm to schedule pickups or provide any donor assistance that is required. We are closed on Sundays.
Our Donation Center Offers
– Residential Pickup Service: The residential pickup service serves over 100 Wisconsin communities. Bright yellow postcards are mailed to residents in those communities a week before each scheduled pickup. Anyone planning to donate items should schedule on our website at www.DonateESW.com or call ahead at 1-877-208-5109 to schedule the stop. In addition, large donations may require scheduling on a different date from that shown on the postcard and donors should call for scheduling of those donations.
– Convenient Drop-Off Locations: There are a number of convenient drop-off locations throughout the state. At some of these sites, donors will find an attendant to assist with their donation. At other locations, donors will find a donation bin or barrel in which they can place donated clothing. A complete listing of drop-off locations can be found on the Drop Off Locations tab at www.DonateESW.com
-Nonprofit Fundraising Drive: Public and private schools, faith and community based groups, civic organizations and other non-profit organizations can raise money for their organization and for Easter Seals by conducting a clothing drive within their organization or in their community. There is no up-front cost and no need to purchase inventory for the partnering non-profit. To learn more about this simple yet effective fund-raising opportunity, contact a member of the Donation Center Management Team.
-Hosting a Donation Drive: Businesses, communities and community-based groups can host a clothing donation drive that will promote recycling and benefit people with disabilities. Those interested in learning more about this convenient method of donating or who want to set up a donation drive are encouraged to contact a member of the Donation Center Management Team who will be happy to tell you more about donation drives and assist with coordinating and promoting your event.
– Community Partnerships: Community organizations and businesses, such as hotels and consignment stores, can become involved with our ongoing collection efforts. We can notify the business or organization each time we are in their area to offer a pickup. As a result, the business is able to dispose of gently used goods on a regular or as-needed basis.
– Vehicle Donation Program: The collection of used cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, and snowmobiles is a valuable source of funding for Easter Seals Wisconsin. For more information on this program, please visit our Vehicle Donations page.
